Welcome! These Conditions of Use ("Terms") describe the agreement between you and Wonder Spark ("we", "us", "our") when you book a party, browse our website, or otherwise use our services. By booking with us or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Who we are and what we offer
Wonder Spark provides children's birthday and event entertainment in the Greater Seattle area — characters, hosts, themed programs, crafts, decorations and full-energy party experiences. Specific package details, duration and inclusions are listed on our website and confirmed in your booking confirmation.
Booking and confirmation
A booking is confirmed only after we (a) send a written confirmation (email or SMS) of the date, time and package, and (b) receive your deposit. Until both happen, the time slot remains available. Please book as early as possible — peak weekends fill quickly.
Deposits, payment and cancellation
- Deposit: a 50% deposit is required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the party, before the program begins.
- Cancellation by you: if you cancel at least 7 full days before the event, your deposit is refundable (minus any third-party fees already incurred). Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable, but we will do our best to reschedule within 90 days when possible.
- Cancellation by us: in the unlikely event we have to cancel for any reason within our control, you'll receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or you may choose to reschedule.
- Weather and force majeure: if severe weather or other events beyond either party's reasonable control prevent the party from happening safely, we will work with you to reschedule without penalty.
Pricing
Prices are listed on our website in U.S. dollars and are inclusive of performer fees and the items listed in the package description. Travel beyond our standard service area, extra hours, additional characters or custom add-ons may carry an additional fee — quoted to you in writing before the event.
Parental supervision
Our entertainers are wonderful with kids — but they're entertainers, not childcare. A parent, guardian or other responsible adult must be present and supervising children at all times during the event. This is non-negotiable.
Conduct, safety and a fun environment
To keep the day magical for everyone, you agree that:
- You will provide a reasonably safe venue and a clear performance space appropriate to the activities booked.
- Guests will treat our entertainers with respect. Harassment, intimidation, or inappropriate behavior toward our team is grounds for ending the event without refund.
- You will let us know in advance about allergies, medical conditions or accessibility needs so we can adapt activities and supplies.
Liability
Wonder Spark carries general liability insurance for our entertainers' performances. You are responsible for the safety, condition and suitability of the venue you choose (indoors, backyard, park or otherwise). To the maximum extent allowed by law, Wonder Spark's total liability for any claim arising out of an event is limited to the amount you paid us for that event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Photography and media
Our entertainers may take occasional photos at events for portfolio and social-media use. We will always ask you first and, if any guests prefer not to be photographed, we'll respect that. You retain the right to ask us to remove any image of your child at any time by emailing info@wonderspark.com.
Intellectual property
All website content — copy, photos, illustrations, costumes, choreography, scripts and branding — belongs to Wonder Spark or our licensors. You may not reproduce, resell or use any of it commercially without our written permission. Personal use (saving a photo of your child at the party, sharing it with family) is, of course, welcomed.
Third-party services
Our website may link to third-party services (maps, payment processors, social platforms). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use our services after we post the update means you accept the new Terms.
